ABOUT NORTHWEST ARKANSAS EQUESTRIAN COALITION

The Northwest Arkansas Equestrian Coalition is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to the preservation, education, and collaborative growth and prosperity of the Equestrian Community in the Northwest Arkansas region. Our mission is to promote and protect the interests of equestrians, horses, and related businesses and organizations through grassroots movements, education, and advocacy. We strive to promote strong ethics and good will within the equestrian community, and we believe that by working together, we can create a more sustainable future for horses and horse lovers alike.

OUR APPROACH

At the Northwest Arkansas Equestrian Coalition, we believe that education and collaboration are key to achieving our mission -- a brighter future. We work closely with local equestrian organizations, businesses, and individuals to promote the interests of the equestrian community in the Northwest Arkansas area. Our approach is simple: bring all equestrians together toward common goals regardless of discipline or differences. We embrace diversity within the equestrian community and recognize this as a strength in cultivating a culture of opportunities and harmony. Our programs and initiatives include educational events and workshops, advocacy and lobbying efforts, and community outreach programs. We believe that by working together, we can create a more vibrant and sustainable equestrian community for everyone to enjoy.

OUR

MISSION

Cultivating a positive, diverse, collaborative region where there is broad enthusiasm and support for equestrian sports as well as the land and accessibility that sustain them is what we're all about. Our mission is to achieve greater collaboration and integration among the equestrian disciplines, breed associations, advocacy groups, and riding clubs of Northwest Arkansas which in turn will cultivate a community that speaks with one public voice and ensures riding will be available and accessible to all people in our area, now and in the future. COMMUNITY
CHALLENGES

Perhaps some of the greatest challenges we face within the Equestrian Community are preservation of our heritage, land conservation issues, dwindling educational opportunities for our youth and adults, and political roadblocks within each "niche".

Our community must meet these challenges head on in order to provide solutions, funding, and put collaborative efforts to work in order to support each other's organizations and equestrian related efforts for future sustainability and a thriving culture.

OUR PARTNERS

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in the Northwest Arkansas area to further our mission of promoting and protecting the interests of the equestrian community. These partners include local equestrian clubs, riding schools, veterinary clinics, and feed stores, as well as other non-profit organizations and community groups. By working together, we can achieve our shared goal of creating a more vibrant and sustainable equestrian community in Northwest Arkansas.
